PowerCOAT offers a few options for Polyaspartic coatings. Our most popular is the Purepoxy PP-S85 which is a very low odor coating with a very long pot life making it one of the longest working time polyaspartics on the market.

PP-S85 is a two-component, slow curing, low to no odor, hybrid polyaspartic coating system designed as a decorative yet durable coating for commercial and industrial flooring. Formulated with aliphatic chemistry, PP-S85 is color stable allowing it to take UV exposure without color shifts seen with other coating systems such as epoxies. PP-S85 is a 1:1 mix ratio system with sufficient pot life to be rolled, brushed, or sprayed . It has a robust application window with ability to apply at low temperatures and high humidity.

  • Micro media traction agents can be introduced into the liquid system or dispersed into the top coat

  • Excellent chemical resistance, resistant to skydrol

  • Resistant to hot tire pickup

  • Excellent coefficient of friction properties

  • High build capability in coats of 10 – 12 mils maximum

  • Can be matted with a matting agent

  • Tolerant to 300°F (149°C) for random, incidental heat contact

  • VOC compliant in all 50 States and Canada

Our second Polyaspartic offering is one that took our applicators by surprise during the summer of 2021. When chemical shortages were hitting every manufacturer on the planet our chemists managed to design a higher percentage solvent based polyaspartic to replace our flagship polyaspartic and boy did they get it right!
PP-TOP85 is a much lower viscosity polyaspartic that gives you an extended working time and it is not affected by high heat during the application as much as other polyaspartics are. So on those hot summer days when normal polyaspartics kick over fast and leave roller marks, PP-TOP85 will give you that extra work time and leave you with a perfect surface.
