UnGLUED™ Flooring Adhesive Remover

UnGLUED™ is an advanced, patent-pending adhesive removal system for pressure-sensitive adhesives, flooring glues, and mastics, including water-based, solvent-based, and asbestos-containing mastics. The formula softens and encapsulates adhesive residue so it can be collected and contained for disposal.

UnGLUED™ offers an alternative to abrasive removal methods that can create airborne contaminants. It is designed for restoration and flooring-removal projects where controlled adhesive removal, worker safety, and cleaner site conditions are important.

Surface Preparation and Application

1. Remove all flooring so the adhesive or mastic is fully exposed.
2. Remove pooled water, liquids, and loose foreign material.
   
3. Apply by roller to fully cover the adhesive-contaminated substrate.
4. Allow the product to dwell, then remove and collect softened adhesive for disposal.

Dwell Time, Coverage, and Available Sizes

Dwell time ranges from 2 hours to overnight, up to 12 hours, depending on temperature, adhesive age, adhesive type, and material thickness and condition. Colder temperatures require longer dwell times. There is no pot life, but mix onsite when needed to avoid contamination or premature drying.

Coverage is approximately 80 to 100 sq. ft. per US gallon. Available in 1 US gallon and 4 US gallon sizes.
