WhiteAway™ is a professional-grade efflorescence remover designed to safely eliminate white salt deposits from concrete, brick, stone, and other porous mineral substrates — without using harsh acid-based chemicals. Its water-based, biodegradable, and fume-free formula makes it ideal for industrial, commercial, and residential use, including on delicate or heritage surfaces (after testing).

For long-term protection, surfaces treated with WhiteAway™ should be followed with VersaGuard™ or DualGuard™ to help prevent efflorescence from returning.

How It Works

WhiteAway™ reacts directly with efflorescence on contact, allowing it to be easily scrubbed and rinsed away:

Spray on and observe the reaction with the efflorescence

Scrub with a stiff, synthetic bristle brush

Rinse away with clean water

Additional applications may be required for heavy or long-term build-up.

Application Instructions (Summary)

Use in weather above freezing

Do not atomize during spraying

Always perform a test patch before full application

Remove heavy scale with a stiff brush first, when possible

Surface should be free of dirt, oil, grease, and grime

Substrate may be damp but must not have standing water

Application Method:

Spray liberally to fully saturate the surface

Allow WhiteAway™ to react with efflorescence

Scrub with stiff, synthetic bristle brush as needed

Rinse thoroughly with clean water

Repeat if necessary

Always rinse thoroughly after the final application to neutralize the surface.

Dwell Time

Ranges from immediate removal to extended dwell on stubborn horizontal deposits

Always determine proper dwell time using a test patch, especially on sensitive substrates

Important System Recommendation

When removing efflorescence from cement-based materials (concrete, mortar, grout), it is recommended to follow with: VersaGuard™ or DualGuard™ to help inhibit future efflorescence recurrence.
