WashAway Xtreme™ is a patented, high-performance chemical surface preparation solution designed to clean, prepare, and profile concrete (CSP 1–4) prior to applying penetrating treatments such as VersaGuard™ or DualGuard™, or installing topical flooring systems like coatings and adhesive-based flooring products.

Using proprietary Smart Chemical Technology, WashAway Xtreme™ deep cleans and profiles concrete without mechanical grinding, shot blasting, or acid etching — delivering excellent coating adhesion while improving jobsite safety and efficiency.

Simple Application Process

Spray on using a low-pressure sprayer

Scrub if needed

Allow to dwell (30 minutes to overnight)

Rinse or pressure wash thoroughly

Application Instructions (Summary)

Apply liberally to bare concrete only

Remove loose materials and standing water before application

Do not dilute

Scrubbing partway through dwell time with an auto-scrubber and stiff pad or broom is strongly recommended

Rinse thoroughly after dwell time

WashAway Xtreme™ does not remove paint, sealers, or adhesives. These must be removed first.

For Removal of Existing Materials (Before Use)

Use the appropriate product before WashAway Xtreme™:

UnGLUED™ – Flooring glues, mastics, adhesives

DeBOND™ / AiA™ – Paints, coatings, some sealers

DeSEAL™ – Some sealants

Dwell Time & Performance

Typical dwell: 30 minutes – 3 hours

Can be left overnight without damaging concrete

Cold temperatures require longer dwell times
