DualGuard™ Concrete Waterproofing Sealer

DualGuard™ with InnerCrete™ Membrane Technology is a dual-action concrete protection treatment that combines surface water repellency with permanent internal waterproofing. Designed to replace traditional film-forming sealers, it protects bare concrete and cementitious substrates from moisture intrusion, staining, and environmental exposure while preserving a natural matte finish.

Unlike conventional concrete sealers that can whiten, peel, flake, or delaminate, DualGuard™ works from the surface down without creating a surface film. It helps deliver longer-lasting concrete waterproofing, moisture control, and durability for new, existing, green, above-grade, and below-grade concrete.

Concrete Moisture Control and Long-Term Performance

After application, DualGuard™ continues working within the concrete to help reduce relative humidity by 10% or more, reduce alkalinity and regulate pH levels, and reduce moisture vapour emission rates by 5+ lbs. It also helps inhibit mould and mildew growth in damp environments.

Technical Compatibility

• For untreated concrete and Portland-cement-based substrates
• Suitable for concrete with pH of 12 or below
• Suitable for concrete with MVER below 12
• Suitable for concrete with 99% RH or greater

How to Apply DualGuard™

1. Apply to clean, bare concrete, whether damp or dry.
2. Use a low-pressure pump sprayer for even coverage.
3. Agitate the product into the surface with a stiff-bristle broom.
4. Do not allow excess product to pool or harden. Wipe away any excess.
5. Allow the treatment to react for several hours before returning the surface to service.

Coverage and Available Sizes

DualGuard™ covers approximately 150 to 200 sq. ft. per US gallon. Actual coverage depends on concrete age, condition, and porosity. Avoid over-application and surface pooling.
