Recreational Vehicle Protection
Spring has arrived in Canada and the Northern USA and that means camping season is about to start. This usually entails people opening up the RV or trailer and getting it ready to roll for a summer of fun. That fun is short lived when they open up their unit and they notice that they have water damage from a leaking roof. Maybe they don’t like the fact that the front of their RV is being sandblasted or peppered with rock chips from being driven down the road?
These are problems that all recreational vehicles face and finding a solution that actually works can be very difficult. Most RV stores can fix these issues but they want to charge customers an arm and a leg to do it and in the end most of the time they are outsourcing the work to an outside contractor anyways.
Then there’s the DIY option that the RV store will suggest but the products they offer are sub-standard and rarely work. If they do work they only last a short while and then the client is back to square one. This is particularly true for the roof.
Scorpion XO2 gives you, the applicator, a protective coatings solution to offer your clients that face these issues with their RV’s. This also gives you another market to acquire business from that in our honest opinion is not being properly served. Take a look at these pictures of RV’s that have been protected by Scorpion XO2 and decide if you want a piece of this huge market.
The picture below shows a tent trailer before and after that Mike Freund of Scorpion Spruce Grove sprayed with XO2. The roof was cracked in many places and when Mike was finished the roof looked better than brand new and is fully waterproof!

Blastrac is now available at PowerCOAT Canada!

With Husqvarna's purchase of Blastrac things have been in limbo with no one really knowing what was going to happen moving forward. Well after a recent meeting with Husqvarna we can say that PowerCOAT Canada will be representing Blastrac as a distributor going forward.
This is great news for all of our clients that already own these great units but it is also great news for any new applicators that want to step up to the highest quality prep equipment on the market. Blastrac and Husqvarna are known for being the highest quality equipment on the market and now PowerCOAT can help you with both lines.
We will start bringing in consumables, parts and equipment as needed until we get a better understanding of the line but let us know what you need or want and we can make it happen.

What's Wrong With this Picture???
Can you tell what's wrong with this picture? No? Let us tell you.
Notice how everyone is standing with their arms crossed or hands in their pockets with bored looks on their faces? Body language speaks volumes and here is a definition of why people cross their arms...
‘Crossed arms’ is perhaps the most common body language gesture that we come across in our day-to-day lives. Crossing arms across the chest is a classic gesture of defensiveness. This defensiveness usually manifests as discomfort, uneasiness, shyness or insecurity. When a person feels threatened by a situation, they cross their arms over their chest, creating a barrier that helps them protect their vital organs- the lungs and the heart. When a person finds himself in an undesirable situation, you’ll find him folding his arms.
Another defensive gesture is placing your hands in your pockets. It indicates powerlessness and shyness.
This is a prime example of a typical training course offered by other coating distributors. They bring a big group of prospective customers into their warehouse and put on a dog and pony show for them. They pick a section of floor or use pieces of plywood and they apply different coatings to them in front of you.
Does this sound like training?
You may as well stay home and watch a video. Why pay to watch someone roll epoxy? How far did you travel and how much time did you waste to allow yourself to be subjected to a 2-4 hour (or even more) sales pitch on why their products are superior to their competitors?
PowerCOAT offers training in a real world setting where YOU will be the one applying the products with our team guiding you every step of the way. This way you know what it's like to work on an actual floor in real world conditions. Our focus will not be on the products themselves but how to actually use them. You won't have time nor the need or want to cross your arms or put your hands in your pockets because you will be too busy prepping the floor and applying a coating.
This is a 2 day course with limited booking so if you are interested in learning how to coat a garage floor then this course is for you.
