Penetrating Colloidal Silica Treatment for Moisture Vapor Transmission & Hydrostatic Pressure

Premera EasyMVB is a unique, reactive surface treatment for concrete consisting of specialized chemicals in a colloidal silica matrix. It penetrates deep into the concrete slab, reacting with free calcium hydrates to form an insoluble, permanent barrier within the pores and capillaries — eliminating moisture vapor transmission and solving hydrostatic pressure challenges that would otherwise cause coating adhesion failures.

When used as a pre-primer treatment in combination with Premera FP1 Fusion Primer, EasyMVB can withstand up to 25 lbs of moisture vapor transmission, effectively eliminating adhesion issues caused by elevated slab moisture. Available as a gallon.

How It Works

EasyMVB penetrates into concrete and pozzolanic materials, reacting with free calcium hydrates to form a permanent, insoluble crystalline barrier within the capillary structure of the slab. This reaction:

• Seals pores and capillaries to block vapor transmission
• Densifies and hardens the cementitious surface
• Eliminates efflorescence by blocking the migration of soluble salts
• Improves water resistance and water repellency from within the substrate
