PPG Amerlock Sealer AK-0A is a high-solids, solvent-free penetrating epoxy primer sealer engineered for maximum adhesion on challenging substrates. Its unique wicking action penetrates rusted steel and concrete surfaces, creating a strong bond even where abrasive blasting isn't an option. Surface tolerant and compatible with damp surfaces, Amerlock Sealer is the go-to primer when conditions aren't ideal but performance can't be compromised.

As a universal self-priming epoxy, it accepts a broad range of topcoats and serves as an excellent tie coat over most existing coatings — making it equally valuable for new construction and maintenance recoating projects. NSF Standard 61 certified for valve applications (US supply), low VOC, and built for long-term protection in chemically aggressive environments.
