OilGuard – Optical Engine Protection Against Fuel Mix Errors

Wrong oil-fuel mix is one of the most common — and costly — causes of power cutter engine failure on job sites. The OilGuard optical detection system continuously monitors the fuel for correct oil presence and type. If something is wrong, it automatically reduces engine RPM to prevent damage before it happens. For rental operators and multi-crew job sites, this translates directly to lower repair costs and fewer out-of-service days. OilGuard can be deactivated to run standard two-stroke oil by simply pulling out the OilGuard button at the rear handle.
