Clear Coated Quartz Anti-Slip Additive – 25 & 40 Mesh Spherical

Superior Grip for High-Traffic and Industrial Surfaces

Engineered for demanding surfaces, Clear Coated Quartz is a hard, durable aggregate designed to deliver consistent anti-slip texture in industrial, commercial, and high-traffic environments. The quartz is optimized for hand-broadcast application, integrating seamlessly into clear or pigmented coatings without altering the coating's coefficient of friction.

Whether you're coating garage floors, warehouse decks, ramps, or walkways, this quartz aggregate provides a reliable non-skid surface that holds up under heavy use. A pigmented topcoat is recommended to maximize durability and finish aesthetics.

Application Rate: 1 lb per 1–5 ft²
Method: Hand-broadcast into wet coating
Compatible With: Clear and pigmented floor coatings

Why Choose Clear Coated Quartz Aggregate?

  • Aggressive anti-slip texture — hard quartz aggregate creates a coarse, consistent grip surface that reduces slip-and-fall risk
  • Does not reduce coefficient of friction — maintains coating performance while adding critical safety texture
  • Ideal for high-traffic and industrial environments — engineered to withstand heavy foot traffic, equipment, and chemical exposure
  • Works with clear or pigmented coatings — versatile compatibility across epoxy, polyurethane, and polyaspartic systems
  • Topcoat-ready — apply a pigmented topcoat over broadcast quartz for enhanced durability and a finished appearance
  • Simple application — hand-broadcast at 1 lb per 1–5 ft² for fast, consistent results on any project scale

How to Apply Quartz Texture Additive

Broadcast or Trowel – Versatile Application Methods

Hand-broadcasting is recommended for the 40 mesh spherical material at a rate of 1 lb per 1–5 ft². For larger angular aggregate (25 mesh), trowel application is the preferred method.

Recommended Topcoat for Maximum Durability

A pigmented topcoat applied over the broadcast quartz locks in the aggregate, enhances abrasion resistance, and delivers a clean, professional finish suited for long-term performance in demanding environments.
